Panama House location is an interim site for the Michaux Center.
The long-term goal for the center is for it to be constructed as a Living Building (a higher standard than LEED, one that produces more than it consumes) (Sustainability Report & Matrix, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Feb. 2001).

The Michaux Center was created to fulfill the goals of the Michaux Conservancy. Today, the Michaux Center houses our staff and is a collaboration center.
