Restoration Plans

The Michaux Conservancy and the City of North Charleston plan to restore 20 acres of a former Naval golf course by re-establishing a tidal salt marsh. In this area, we will create a strong research and monitoring program. We will also build a sidewalk-to-trail system that allows residents to walk or bike from their homes to Riverfront Park.
